Nigeria cracks down after attacks Nigerian authorities have arrested nearly a hundred people in connection with attacks near the central city of Jos that killed more than 500 people. American Freed From Haitian Jail PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) — One of two Americans still being held on kidnapping charges in Haiti was released Monday, but the leader of the group remained in custody.
